“ Simply incredible service and food. The vegan/vegetarian options are very much appreciated. The Sonoma greens salad is my favorite salad ever (had this at the Naples and Fort Lauderdale locations previously). I also tried the roasted cauliflower "steak" for the first time tonight in Brickell. Blown away by this dish - the red pepper romesco was phenomenal. My compliments to the chef. Impressive wine list too. Thanks for a memorable dining experience. ”
“ Food and service amazing. Loved the backlit menus. Server and maitre D outstanding. Best stone crabs ever. Baked Alaska a must. ”
“ We were here on a Wednesday night. It was busy, though not crowded for our 6:45 reservation. We were seated outdoors, per request. Our waiter was Andrew. He was very social and pleasant throughout the meal. At this time of year, when in South Florida, I'm always ordering stone crab when it's on the menu. It was here, as it's a steak and seafood restaurant. We started with 5 Jumbo claws. We are used to getting charged for these claws by the pound. This place though charges by the claw. Medium ones were about $10 and large were about $25. I cannot recall more specifically, as we ordered the jumbo, which were $38. I honestly cannot assess if the per pound or per claw is more favorable, but the price seemed reasonable. However, the jumbo seemed generously termed, as I have had larger ones in a number of places, still, they were very tasty and ultimate that's what matters. We had them with the traditional mustard concoction (which I believe mixes in mayonnaise), as well as drawn butter, which we happen to prefer. After polishing off the 5 claws, my wife had the steak frites (not their best steak, but still tasty and nicely prepared). The accompanying fries were excellent. I had the Australian lobster tail which came with mashed potatoes accented with Parmesan and chives as well as a side of asparagus. It was huge and was expertly prepared and presented. That entree alone was $125, so be prepared to spend if you're inclined to dine here. My wife had one of their speciality cocktails off the menu, which was nicely presented with dry ice (presumably, as it gave off smoke) and an orchid. I had a glass of the Austin Hobbs, as I tend to drink red even with seafood and happen to be partial to this Paso Robles Cabernet, which was also reasonably priced for a by-the-glass steakhouse restaurant. We were not going to order dessert, as after the claws and the main entrees we were plenty full. However, we were then astonished with a Baked Alaska surprise for my wife's birthday. They really did it up too on a plate decorated with chocolate writing out Happy Birthday and when they lit the cake it was a spectacle. This was an incredible complimentary dessert and was an incredible surprise. It was delicious. The tip was not the type of mandatory gratuity so prevalent in the area, but Andrew was a great waiter throughout and the dessert just blew us away, so we took good care of him. Before the tip and without being charged for the dessert with tax was about $500. It was well worth it and we will revisit when in town again. ”
“ @trulucksrestaurant in Brickell #miami was an amazing dining experience! The tuna tartare was amazing. It was so flavorful and fresh. The lobster bisque was divine. It was a little strong and was difficult to eat it all. We got 1/2 dozen oysters. they were also great and fresh. The king crab (1/2 lb) was very rich. The crab cake had the perfect consistency, not too moist or dry. The crab fried rice is a must try! It has a sweet taste to it. And finally the baked alaska was out of this world. It was burnt a little on the one side which gave it the taste of a burnt marshmallow. Cocktails were great! We got the first crush and lively up. Overall it was yummy! The dining experience was decent. We felt rushed by the water and he took my food away twice before i was finished. Everything was nice and clean. Romantic atmosphere. ”
“ We were just looking for a nearby place for a happy hour cocktail. Truluck's does have a great happy hour which we enjoyed. The prices and the drink were exactly what we were looking for. We asked to see a menu and we were surprised to a Bolognese on the menu which we tried and it was delicious - it was so good we came back the next day and had the same thing. We also enjoyed the piano player, on Wednesdays. She has a wonderful voice. The bartender was friendly, prompt and very helpful with the menu. If I owned a restaurant, I would hire him in a second! ”
“ We went here for Thanksgiving dinner, which is admittedly a weird time to go to a restaurant known for crabs and seafood--but we were not disappointed and honestly I was blown away. Everything from the salad, to the turkey and sides, to the pumpkin cheesecake and carrot cake deserts was amazing (and reasonably priced!). We added on lobster Mac and cheese which was delicious, and started off with a special old fashioned cocktail. If you're going out for Thanksgiving, this is a classy and lovely way to do it. Service was excellent as well! Will come back! ”
“ I recently came here to celebrate Thanksgiving as my group didn't feel like cooking this year. We had a great time! The inside of the restaurant has a nice upscale feel. We were originally sat at a table we weren't pleased with, but the staff was willing to immediately move us to a better table. We opted for a fixed menu which did not disappoint! We had a salad, Turkey, and a few thanksgiving sides which were all very yummy. We also ordered a crab Mac and cheese as we couldn't come here and not order some seafood. Amazing! For dessert we had a pumpkin cheesecake and a carrot cake. I couldn't decide which was better. Both were so good! Oh and the martini I had was one of the best I've had in a while. Our waitress Marlene was very helpful and patient with us, offering great service. Loved this meal! ”
“ Went to Truluck's for Thanksgiving and had their beautiful special menu for the occasion. Service, first of all, is top-notch. Marlene was amazing, giving us lots of good recommendations on drinks and food and overall giving us a great holiday experience. The management was very kind to reseat us from a table to a booth to be more comfortable. I even got a phone call the next day just to check in on our experience. Food-wise it was great, although probably most items were special to the Thanksgiving menu. We did get a side order of the crab Mac and cheese - amazing! Highly recommend - lots of crab and served nice and warm. Their carrot cake is also from the usual menu and while it seemed like the obvious to get the pumpkin dessert, so glad we tried the carrot cake because it was amazing and maybe my favorite thing. Definitely recommend Truluck's for a holiday and/or special occasion. ”
“ Truluck's Ocean Finest Seafood is a top contender for me! I enjoyed the snapper, which was a perfect 10/10, alongside a decent lemon drop martini, scoring a 7. I also indulged in the carrot cake. Although we had a reservation for an outdoor table, we waited 15 minutes, only to be told it would be another 30 minutes, so we opted for an indoor booth. The inside was intimate but all the tables were so close together and it was a bit awkward. The server was adequate, but didn't detract from the overall experience! . ”
“ Back with an update! Service was great and food was delicious per usual. They had a small remodel, looks great inside and more modern without the white table cloths. I really enjoyed my branzino and the lobster tails my brother ordered were also very tasty. I have to say though, I miss the crab tower!! I noticed it gone last time too but still hoping it'll make a come back again. See you next week again Truluck's :) ”
